The South East Florida Regional TMC Operations (SEFRTOC) was formed in 2003 by the South Florida Regional ITS Coalition, an organization that brings together municipal, county, regional and state agencies to ensure compatible implementation and operation of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) throughout the region.

Mission

To facilitate regional mobility in South East Florida through coordinated Transportation Management Center Operations.

Objective

To further the objectives of the South Florida Regional ITS Coalition by leading initiatives related to day-to-day operations and to establish a regional approach to ITS operations and incident management through coordinated communication, decision-making and planned resource sharing.
