TMC Operator - Ft. Lauderdale Florida
We are seeking experience operators for Florida. Operators are responsible for monitoring of the roadways,
including detecting, confirming, updating, and responding to scheduled and unscheduled traffic events,
congestion with ITS devices such as Closed Circuit TV, Detectors, etc.
Dispatching Road Rangers via a two-way radio system to assist motorist, respond to events and other
activities that required timely and efficient responses.
Required Skills:
- Good Interpersonal Skills
- Good Data Entry Skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to communicate clearly
- Ability to work alternate work schedules and on-call duties at a 24 hour operation center
- Skilled in the use of Window base application, preferred Internet Explorer, Word, and Excel
- Knowledge of two-way communication systems
- Knowledge of the Freeway Systems
